What do you need?

A creditcard or a Paypal accout with an linked creditcard or bank account

Create a keymaster account

Go to https://forum.cfx.re and create an account
You will receive an email now from FiveM with an activation link. Open this en click on ++activate++.

Buy a Patreon Element Club Tier

Go to https://www.patreon.com/fivem and choose the package you want. There are 3 license tiers. Click on the ++JOIN++ button.

FiveM Element Club Argentum - 64 slots
FiveM Element Club Aurum - 64 slots
FiveM Element Club Platinum - 128 slots

Create a Patreon account || Use the same email address you used to create your keymaster account on https://forum.cfx.re!!
Choose your country of residence
Choose your payment type (creditcard or paypal) and complete the payment

Create a license

Go to https://keymaster.fivem.net and log in.
Once logged in, press ++register++.
At ++label++ enter the name of your server, at ++IP address++ t

Connect your server to a database

| In this tutorial we will show you how to connect your server to a database using ESX. Other resources/frameworks might require a different configuration. Always read the documentation if your resource.

First make sure you have created the database and imported all SQL files that where included with your resources!

Open your server.cfg (How to use WinSCP)
Add this on top of your server.cfg:

set es_enableCustomData 1 set mysql_connection_string "server=HOST;uid=USERNAME;password=PASSWORD;database=DBNAME"

Change the parameters.

Replace HOST with your database IP.
Replace USERNAME with your database username
Replace PASSWORD with your database password
Replace DBNAME with your database name

Save the file.
Restart your server.

Find your database credentials

In your control panel go to ++databases++ in the menu.

Database programs

There are a couple of database manage tools that you could use.

In this tutorial we will use the free HeidiSQL tool

In the menu, click on ++Databases++
Click on the +eye+ button the view your database credentials

Open HeidiSQL
We would like to create a new connection if no one exists yet. Click on the New button
Enter the Hostname, User, Password and Port and Click on Open
Click on your database name
Click on Query
Right click on the empty text field and click on "Load SQL File"

|| You can also copy and paste the content of the SQL file to the empty text fiel

Open the SQL file that you want to import
Click on the play button or press F9

Downloads

Download the files that are required

Download WinRAR
Download the TakeHostage resource

Move files

Extract and move the files to the right directory

|| Most downloads are compressed. You need to decompress them with a tool like winrar.

Decompress the resource you just downloaded to your desktop.

|| The folder should contain a fxmanifest.lua or __resource.lua file or the resource will not work

Open a FTP client like WinSCP and connect to your server. We explain how you do this here
Drag & Drop the TakeHostage folder on your desktop to the resources folder on the server.

Start the resource

It's important to let the server know that the new resource has te be started. Some resources requires another resource to work. For example. If resource2 needs resource1, you need to start Resource1 first! You can find this mostly in the docu

Creating a database is fairly easy.

Click on ++Database++ in the control panel
Click on ++NEW DATABASE++
Enter the ++DATABASE NAME++ but leave the ++CONNECTIONS FROM++ empty
Click on ++CREATE DATABASE++
Press Create Databse
